QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
– LLB qualification and an admitted Attorney in South Africa;
– Minimum 5 years’ sound recent experience in Local, Regional and High Court proceedings and appearances;
– Strong computer literacy and working knowledge of software such as Legal Suite, JutaStat, Lexis + etc. ;
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
– Highly professional in consulting with clients and taking of instructions;
– Highly disciplined and well-organised to maintain and run an accurate diary system to ensure exceptional service to clients;
– Well skilled in research;
– Fee-driven with the required level of focus on admin thereof;
– Ability to integrate into the local community through involvement on bodies such as the Business Chamber, sports clubs etc. and to market and build the brand of the firm.
