Basson Piek is not only the Chief Operating Officer for Rauch Gertenbach Attorneys in the Garden Route, but also a Business Rescue and Business Restructuring practitioner. Basson holds an MBA degree and a certificate in Business Rescue from UNISA and whilst starting his career in Operations Management, it quickly evolved into Senior Leadership roles, with exposure to various industries. He has spent the last 12 years as Chief Operating Officer of Rauch Gertenbach Attorneys, in charge of Corporate Strategy, Finance, Regulatory Compliance, Marketing and Promotion, HR and IT. During 2016 he became involved with Business Rescues, obtained a relevant qualification and is registered with the CIPC and SARIPA (South African Restructuring and Insolvency Practitioners Association), as a Business Rescue and Business Restructuring Professional.
